The 1st edition of the International Conference on Economics - Challenges and Opportunities is organised by the Doctoral Schools (Accounting, Business Administration, Cybernetics and Economic Statistics, Economic Informatics, Economics I, Finance, International Business and Economics, Management, Marketing) of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, at the initiative of the Doctoral School Economics II, in partnership with national and international research institutes and universities.

The exploration and analysis of economic phenomena are a crucial endeavours that holds immense significance in shaping our understanding of the complex and dynamic world of finance, commerce, and societal well-being, especially considering today’s economic and social challenges. For this reason, we believe that using the findings from various scientific disciplines could create a comprehensive and realistic grasp of the decision-making processes that drive economic activity. This is the background which we find it extremely important to bring together academics, professors, doctoral and postdoctoral fellows and the business community at the International Conference on Economics - Challenges and Opportunities.

The International Conference on Economics - Challenges and Opportunities is dedicated to PhD students and postdoctoral fellows with the aim of exchanging best practices and advanced research methods.

The conference aims to facilitate interaction between members of the academic community, i.e. senior researchers, professors, junior researchers and especially PhD students and postdoctoral fellows in order to develop knowledge synergies.

The conference will take place on-site on October 10-12, 2024 at the "I. Gh. Roșca" Training Center Complex in Predeal (Bulevardul Mihail Săulescu 91, Predeal 505300, Brașov County).

Registration (the title and the authors of the paper) is expected by July 30, 2024, using this form.
The paper submission is due by September 10, 2024.
